Along the way, your leader will set a relaxed pace and share insights about the landscape and its history, with a brief exploration of the ancient earthwork walls and surrounding open fields before continuing east and north along a mix of grassy paths and rural tracks skirting the village of Caistor St Edmund. The route then gently loops back through peaceful Norfolk countryside, reconnecting with lanes that lead you back to Dunston Hall. Your leader will guide you back to the hotel, completing a mostly flat, circular walk of around 6.3km that combines Roman heritage, open farmland and tranquil local scenery.To ensure a smooth pace and the best experience for all participants, we kindly ask that our hikes remain pet-free and child-free. This helps us keep the group moving comfortably and ensures everyone can fully enjoy the adventure.
